Graceful Acres is a one-of-a-kind wedding and event venue — nestled among 35 acres of rolling farmland and flower fields just east of Monticello, Illinois.
Built in 1895, our barn has been lovingly preserved and thoughtfully updated — keeping its original hand-hewn timber beams and soaring 35-foot ceilings, while adding beautiful updated touches such as our stunning antique chandelier, glass doors that let in gorgeous natural light, and warm Edison bulb lighting throughout.

Following the beauty and uniqueness of seasonality, the same flowers grown just outside our barn doors can become your centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres.
The Spaces
The Barn (50’ x 50’)
Our main event space features:
- Soaring 35-foot timber-frame ceilings
- Antique chandelier and warm Edison string lights
- Handcrafted double doors opening to a concrete patio
- Up to 100 guests seated
- Custom table layouts designed around your vision
- Premium white resin chairs with cushions
Cocktail Hour Space
Located adjacent to the barn, this rustic open-air area is perfect for cocktail hour while your ceremony space is being flipped for the reception. Features a large area perfect for a generous bar setup, cocktail tables, and surrounded by beautiful string lighting.
Catering Space
A dedicated private space for your caterer to set up, prep, and stage food service — completely separate and hidden from your guests’ view.
What’s Included
Every wedding package includes:
- 12 hours of venue use — additional hours available upon request
- Rectangular, round, and/or cocktail tables
- Premium white resin folding chairs with cushions
- Venue Manager on-site throughout your event
- Parking Attendant
- Complimentary use of “Posy,” our antique Ford flower truck, for photos
- Complimentary 1-hour engagement photo session on the farm
- Caterer of your choosing — food and drink trucks welcome
- DJ or band of your choosing (indoor only)

Farm Fresh Florals
From April through October, you can add our farm-grown flowers to your wedding in ways no traditional venue can offer:
- Locally grown centerpiece arrangements
- DIY buckets of fresh-cut stems
- On-farm guided arranging session — a fun and memorable activity for your bridal party!
- Build-Your-Own Bouquet Bar for your guests
Because our flower fields surround our barn, your florals will be more unique and fresh than traditional “wedding flowers.” We can’t wait to chat about your floral dreams and help bring them to life!
Venue Pricing
Weddings start at $4,200.
We also host birthday parties, showers, and private gatherings. Small event packages start at $850.

What is the guest capacity?
The barn comfortably seats up to 100 guests. Our outdoor ceremony space can accommodate larger groups. Reach out and we can help you figure out the best fit for your guest list.
Can we have our ceremony at the barn too?
Absolutely! Many couples hold their ceremony outdoors on the farm with the flower fields and countryside as their backdrop, then move into the barn for the reception. We can also accommodate beautiful indoor-only ceremonies within the barn itself.
Can we serve alcohol at our event?
We love a good toast! Alcohol is absolutely welcome — beer, wine, and spirits are all allowed when served by a licensed and certified bartender or caterer.
Do you have a kitchen?
We do not have a commercial kitchen — but we have a dedicated catering space your vendors will love. You’re welcome to bring any licensed caterer, and food and drink trucks are fully welcome on the property.
Is the barn air-conditioned?
The barn is a historic structure with natural ventilation rather than central air conditioning. We’re happy to chat through options to keep your guests comfortable — just mention it when you reach out.
What if it rains?
We can definitely host gorgeous all-indoor ceremonies and receptions. No tents, no worries.
Can we get our flowers from the farm?
Yes! From April through October, farm-grown florals are available as an optional add-on.
You can add our farm-fresh flowers in so many unique ways — from bouquet bars, DIY buckets, bridesmaid-assisted arranging, or a fully arranged florist experience.
Your flowers will be fresh-cut specifically for your event, resulting in the most stunning and uniquely local blooms.

Do you have recommended vendors?
We do! We especially love working with 618 Events for wedding coordination — they’re fantastic. We’re also happy to point you toward our favorite local photographers, caterers, and other vendors once we connect. Just ask!
Is the property accessible?
As a historic barn on a working farm, some areas have natural terrain and uneven ground. We’re happy to discuss your specific needs and do everything we can to make your day perfect for all of your guests — just mention it when you reach out.
