At Graceful Acres Flower Farm, our flowers are grown, harvested, and arranged right here on our family farm in Monticello, Illinois. Each season brings its own unique beauty, and we love sharing that beauty with you through thoughtfully designed, garden-inspired florals.

Bulk DIY Stems — Wholesale Locally Grown Flowers
Planning a DIY wedding, bouquet bar, shower, or a different special event and want farm-fresh flowers at wholesale prices?
Our DIY flower buckets are filled with stunning, freshly harvested, seasonal blooms — ideal for brides, event planners, florists, and DIY flower enthusiasts.
You will receive a stunning curated mix of focal flowers, fillers, and greenery, giving you the freedom to design something truly your own.
We grow with events in mind, so your bucket will include a beautiful, cohesive color palette using the very best stems from the field. Typically our buckets are “Florist’s Choice” meaning we pick what is most beautiful for you. If you have a certain color scheme in mind though, please reach out — the sooner the better so that we can grow for you!

One of our favorite ways to share the farm with you. Our bouquet subscriptions are designed to bring the very best of our fresh, locally grown flowers into your home all season long. Each subscription bouquet is artistically curated with the very best of what is blooming in our fields — meaning every bouquet you receive will be uniquely different and beautiful. It is a simple way to bring a little extra beauty and joy into your home (or the home of someone you love.)

We host both public floral arranging workshops and private group workshops — perfect for bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations, bridal showers, girls’ nights, and corporate events near Champaign-Urbana and throughout Central Illinois.

How do I order farm-fresh flowers from Graceful Acres?
Use our flower inquiry form for bulk DIY stems, custom orders, workshop bookings, or any other floral requests. For large orders or custom requests, please contact us as soon as possible to ensure availability. We are always happy to chat about what we can grow and arrange for you.
Do you deliver?
We offer delivery to Monticello, Champaign-Urbana, Decatur, and the surrounding Piatt County area for special orders and some DIY bulk buckets ($45 minimum order). Pickup is always available at our farm in Monticello, IL. Please contact us to confirm delivery availability for your specific location.
When is your growing season?
Our growing season is from April through October — this is when fresh-cut bouquets and arrangements, bulk stems, subscriptions, and workshops are all available. You are welcome to reach out year-round to plan ahead!
Are your flowers sustainably grown?
We are a small, family-owned farm that grows with care and intention, focusing on soil health and sustainable practices. We are not certified organic, but try in every way to be what we call “beyond organic.” For specific questions about our growing methods, we would love to chat — just reach out directly.
How fresh are bulk DIY stem orders?
Extremely fresh. Our flower fields are located directly beside our barn, so we can harvest bulk stems the day before or even the morning of your event.
Every flower has different preferences for when it is harvested and its post-harvest care — we take all of that into account so your stems arrive in perfect condition. 😉
We cut them as close to your event as possible! This is one of the most significant advantages of working with a local farm versus a traditional wholesaler — your flowers are incredibly fresh and thriving when we hand them to you.
What is the minimum for a bulk stem order?
We work with orders of all sizes — from small personal arrangements to large wedding buckets. Contact us with your needs and we will put together an option that works for your event and budget.
Can I book a private floral workshop for my group?
Absolutely — private on-farm workshops are the highlight of our season! We offer two workshop styles — Mason Jar/Cylinder Jar Arranging and Ceramic Centerpiece — both perfect for bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations, bridal showers, girls’ nights, corporate team bonding, and coworker get-togethers near Champaign-Urbana. Both require a 10-person minimum.
Can I visit the farm to pick my own flowers?
We do not currently offer u-pick open to the public. Workshop attendees are allowed premium access to our fields as part of their on-farm experience.
Why buy locally grown flowers instead of from a store?
Most flowers sold at grocery stores and national florists have traveled 3,000 to 5,000 miles before reaching you — cut days/weeks earlier and treated with preservatives to survive the journey.
Our flowers are harvested fresh and arrive at the peak of their fragrance and beauty, lasting significantly longer in your home.
